Program: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) mission is to safeguard America and its allies from Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), specifically chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high explosives (CBRNE) threats. DTRA fulfills this mission by providing the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Department of Defense (DoD), the military services, Combatant Commanders (COCOMS), and other Federal Agencies, and our US allies, with capabilities to reduce, eliminate, and counter the CBRNE threats and mitigate their effects. The objective of this contract is to acquire Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) to support DTRA’s Combat Support (CS) and Nuclear Support (NS) Directorates within the Operations Enterprise in the daily performance and execution of the CS and NS Directorate mission sets.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversees and manages the regulatory aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews projects for compliance to regulations. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet regulations. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Regulatory specialists include but are not limited to import/export, human/animal research, FDA drug approval, clinical trials.

Qualifications:

BA/BS plus 15 years of relevant experience or MA/MBA/MS plus 13 years of relevant experience.
