Program:  The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) and all the Joint Project Management Offices (JPMOs), which report directly to the JPEO-CBD, defines the required program, engineering, and technical support services.  JPEO-CBD manages a dynamic and diverse portfolio of critical warfighting capabilities that require cohesive and innovative total life cycle systems management approaches to rapidly respond to the needs of the Force balanced by affordable sustainment strategies.


Primary Responsibilities:  

Provide capability and training development across the JPEO-CBD portfolio.  Identify training requirements and prepare System Training Plans (STRAPs) when appropriate.  Oversee and coordinate development of teaching and visual aids, instructional materials, computer tutorials, and reference materials appropriate to specific program objectives.  In addition, conduct training meetings, reviews, and conferences to train instructor personnel and staff, evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs, and conduct the research necessary to revise and update training material.



Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a major in Engineering, Systems Management, Business Management, Communications, or a related discipline, is required.  DAU Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics, PM, SPRDE, or the civilian equivalent, is preferred.

 Five (5) years of general experience and two (2) years of experience in a program office or similar organization.
