USI is currently working in support of the TASC team in filling the personnel requirements for 5 labor categories on two of the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Omnibus Program Engineering and Technical Support (OPETS) Services ID/IQ prime contracts in the areas of budget analysts, contract support analysts, data management & business improvement, specialized analysts and training specialist. The OPETS Services IDIQ contract ceiling is valued at $495,000,000 and these personnel locations spread across the three states of Maryland, Virginia and Georgia.
The JPEO CBD is the Joint Services single focal point for research, development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of chemical and biological defense equipment and medical countermeasures. Within the JPEO, eight Joint Project Managers lead, manage and direct the acquisition and fielding of chemical and biological detection and reconnaissance systems, individual and collective protection systems, decontamination systems, information management systems, medical devices, drugs and vaccines, and installation and force protection systems. Located throughout the United States, each Joint Project Management Office leverages talent and expertise from across the services under a single chain of command, providing the best chemical and biological defense technology, equipment and medical countermeasures at the right cost, at the right time and at the right place.
