Universal Solutions International, Inc. Awarded $85M Contract to Provide Project Manager Close Combat Systems with Logistic Services

Newport News, VA – Universal Solutions International, (USI) Inc. was awarded an $85 million maximum value, three-year, single-award IDIQ contract for Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) contractor logistic support services.
Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) provides the Warfighter with world-class close combat, force protection and assured mobility capabilities across full spectrum operations through professional, integrates Joint life-cycle management. The PM is committed to helping our Soldiers maintain freedom to move on the battlefield by developing and supporting technologically advanced Networked Munitions, Countermine, EOD equipment, IED Defeat, Demolitions, Non-Lethal Systems and Munitions, and special projects.
USI will provide technical and support services for the entire family of PM CCS Systems, including Culvert Denial, Entry Control Point, Fido, Goldie, Home Station Training Lanes, Jackal, Lightguard, Rhino, Schonstedt, Sherlock, Spider, Husky Mounted Detection System (including Surrogate), Gizmo, the Minehound, and the AN/PSS-14. USI will provide personnel with the necessary mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills, who are capable of installing, maintaining and sustaining the entire family of PM-CCS Systems. Personnel will conduct operator training, maintenance training, Train-the-Trainer and key leader level training to include testing operators using task, conditions and standards.
